Guide to Patient Access
Once you have registered we will need to verify your details before we can activate online repeat medication requests. This step is designed as a security measure to ensure that only the intended person gets access to their repeat medication list. Please visit the surgery with photo ID (passport or driver's licence or equivalent) and present this to reception.
Only written repeat prescription requests are accepted. A stamped, addressed envelope can be left to enable a prescription to be returned by post. We do not accept telephone requests as this increases the likelihood of error and blocks our telephone lines for other patients.
Please do not FAX your repeat prescriptions through either.
Please allow at least 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) before collecting prescriptions.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
